Laura, Registered Dental Hygienist

team member Laura

As a native of Farmington Hills, Laura has well over two decades of experience working in the dental field. She attended the University of Michigan, became a Registered Dental Hygienist as well as an Orthodontic Assistant, and earned certifications in areas like local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation. The best part about her day is being able to help patients reach their dental goals so that they can show off a proud smile. Away from the office, Laura lives with her husband, their two kids, and their family dog. Other than dentistry, she enjoys watching and playing various sports, hiking in nature, and playing the viola in a local orchestra. One fun fact about her: she can touch her nose with her tongue!

Michele, Registered Dental Hygienist

team member Michele

Born and raised in Livonia, Michele has been helping patients improve their hygiene for three decades and counting. She worked as a dental assistant for a general dentist before studying at the University of Michigan Dental School for Dental Hygiene. Afterward, she went on to become certified in nitrous oxide and local anesthesia administration and has also undergone continuing education courses in multiple areas, such as TMJ disorder, pharmaceuticals, and patient compliance.

Michele’s favorite part about her job is being able to form strong bonds with everyone who walks through our doors. Away from the office, she lives with her husband, their two kids, and their pet dog. Her hobbies include going on walks, gardening (sometimes), spending time with her family and friends, and attending her book club!

Melissa, Treatment Coordinator

team member Melissa

Originally from Wixom, MI, Melissa has been part of the world of dentistry for a decade now, and she loves creating a positive impact in the lives of our patients. The best part about her job is being able to work in a welcoming environment alongside a talented and passionate team. She first studied at Oakland Community College and became dental assisting and X-ray certified, working as a hygiene assistant until she was able to move up front as a hygiene coordinator. She later started working on doctor schedules before landing in dental billing and insurance, and she couldn’t be happier.

Away from the office, Melissa spends much of her time with her husband and their beautiful daughter. Other than being with her family, she also enjoys cooking, gardening, crocheting, and reading. As an avid Kindle reader, she loved the Harry Potter series for years before getting a hold of A Court of Thorns and Roses , which is now her new favorite. One of her biggest dreams is to have a farm with animals and acres to garden and grow delicious foods for her loved ones.

Malissa, Front Office/Insurance Coordinator

team member Malissa

Malissa grew up in Detroit, MI, and has close to a full decade of experience in the dental field. She’s also well-versed in dental insurance verifications and billings, and she enjoys helping patients navigate their coverage plans.

Other than helping people get the dental treatment they deserve, Malissa lives happily with her husband, their son, and their two golden retrievers. Together, they enjoy traveling, salmon fishing, being outdoors, and visiting the Smokey Mountains. She’s also passionate about serving at her church and loves helping in the children’s ministry.
